Famous Personalities and Historical Events are studied, and students write essays that demonstrate their understanding of key themes.
This course contains tutorials, readings, videos, assignments and discussions, and projects.
Students receive guidance on reading strategies for historical documents, historical analysis and essay writing.
Virtual field trips enable students to synthesize their knowledge; comparing historical events with their modern day results.
This full-year course is aligned to the NY State Regents exam.
