Description
Jewish life in Germany is strengthening in recent years, and is now the fastest growing Jewish population. Mainly due to Russian-Jewish immigration, the community now numbers over 100,000. Orthodox shuls are the majority in Germany, and kiruv opportunities abound.
This course is designed for basic level students of German. It focuses on listening and reading skill but it also includes many activities that help learners prepare for speaking and writing. The three sections invite you to acquire the functional language needed to go out and about in town, to travel and to organize your leisure time.
This full-year elective course includes language basics: German Essentials, German Verbs and Basic German Grammar.
