English 10

Description

This course focuses on using personal experiences, opinions, and interests as a foundation for developing effective writing skills. Skills acquired in English 9 are reinforced and refined.

Topics include grammar, sentence and paragraph structure, organizing compositions, and the research paper.

Literary models demonstrate paragraph unity and more sophisticated word choice.  Students practice writing research papers, and receive guidance with topic selection and research. Melamed Academy’s online librarian and our full stock of research databases provide the students with the optimal learning environment for mastering research skills.

Literature has been finely selected to meet the discerning standards of the Torah community.
